CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

A site dedicated to the exploration of material and form as influenced by natural phenomena, popular culture, corporate capitalism, and humanity's relationship to our environment.  My work strives to encourage the viewer to re-evaluate what they interact with on a daily basis.

Do you see what's happening?, 2002

One of the first sculptures I created while beginning my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Regina (SK). Made from detritus clear plastic and six pack rings, the sculpture was positioned in a pool of tar as a means to titillate the sense of smell among viewers, but also to draw reference to a less processed form of the same material as plastic, oil.
